Building Process
For Design Build projects where Hudco Construction, LLC is responsible for development of the plans, the process is as follows:
- Begins with a preliminary meeting to discuss wants, needs, and budget. Once these items have been confirmed,
- Next we begin the plan design project. The customer is aware of the estimated cost of the house prior to the house plans being developed so that there are not surprises upon completion.
- After plans completion, the firm bid is presented and the construction contract is signed and taken to the bank for financing if applicable.
- While the bank is preparing closing documents, the permitting process begins which takes roughly 7-10 days.
- Once this is complete, the construction begins and can take anywhere from 10-16 weeks to complete.
